Kari Whatley

LPC

Kari is a Licensed Professional Counselor and passionate about helping people develop habits for a happy and whole life. She has a Master’s in counseling and a Bachelor’s in theology.

Kari has a thriving private practice and works primarily with anxiety, depression, and PTSD. Along with her private practice in the Fairhope – Daphne area, Kari is an Equine Therapist and uses her nine horses both individually and with families to address anxiety, self-awareness, and relational skills in Bay Minette, Alabama.

Her approach focuses on health for the whole person, not putting a band-aid on one or two problems. I have over ten years of experience helping clients with anxiety, trauma, PTSD, communication skills, and habit transformation.

She also directs the Equine Therapy Group Foundation, which focuses on serving veterans and at-risk youth. Kari was recognized by Mobile Bay Magazine’s 40 under 40 and is a frequent contributor to WKRG News 5 on mental health topics.

She has an encouraging counseling style and uses evidence-based therapy approaches tailored for individual needs.

God’s desire for you is a fulfilling life with a clear path toward balance, hope, and peace. Take the first step and invest in yourself!

When you feel a desire in your life for change, honor it!

You only get one shot at this life, and you deserve a good one! Investing in your well-being is the most important thing you can do for yourself–and the people you love.
